The event features CAPT Andrew G. Letizia, Science Director of the U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit INDO PACIFIC, who will provide an introduction to biosecurity and health emergency preparedness. His talk will also highlight how advances in the life sciences intersect with ethical use considerations, public safety, and public policy, as well as what steps countries should take to establish and strengthen health security.
