About The African Impact Challenge
The African Impact Challenge (AIC) aims to build the Africa we envision by investing in early innovators across the continent. We empower them to create market-innovating solutions that address their country’s most pressing challenges using technology.
Inspired by The Prosperity Paradox, AIC is conducted in different African countries each year. Since its inception in 2020, AIC has empowered over 1,000 early-stage entrepreneurs and funded close to 100 ventures. Our journey has taken us to Ghana (2020), Kenya (2021), Rwanda (2022), and South Africa (2023). In 2022, we also launched the Pan-African Health Entrepreneurship Stream, which runs annually with the support of the Mastercard Foundation.
